Important Message—Energy Assistance
Effective Monday, January 5th, 2015, the Eau Claire County Energy Assistance program will be moving to Western Dairyland EOC at 418 Wisconsin Street, Eau Claire. This means that all of the aspects of the Energy Assistance program (Applications, Outreach, Crisis Assistance, Emergency Furnace, and Weatherization) will be done through one location, Western Dairyland.
Eau Claire County residents who have not already applied this season and are interested in applying for Energy Assistance this winter can make their application at Western Dairyland between January 5-May 15, 2015.
Applications can be made at the Western Dairyland office at 418 Wisconsin Street in Eau Claire, Monday-Thursday, 8:00 am-4:00 pm; paper applications can also be picked up at Western Dairyland or mailed to customers upon request. The paper application and other Energy Assistance information can also be found at: http://www.westerndairyland.org/WHEAP.phtml or customers can call 715-836-7511.
Western Dairyland will continue to perform Outreach Services for the Energy Assistance program. The Energy Assistance Information Line, 715-839-6905, will continue to be active, sharing program information with customers.
